From now on I’m only going to watch Wednesday with my eyes closed.

I'm pretty sure I've just watched the Euro 2021 final a year early in Portugal v France. Kanté with the winner but Patricio was fantastic at keeping the score down.

    hmmm

Really sad to see Ray Clemence has passed away. Probably our best ever keeper.

    RIP

Reckon De Brunye is going to dismantle England tonight. Love to see him when he's in the mood.

  5. WTH is that England starting XI

He didn't even need to get out of first gear. Sad but true.

That England team is just sad to look at. So many players playing out of position.

Kind of what I was thinking. What would be reason enough for Southgate to give up the 3-4-3?

  9. I didn’t watch but Spurs twitter is freaking out about Grealish. It’s a mix of being sad Levy screwed up the deal a couple years ago and others dreaming about getting him next summer.

Yunus Musah was a real standout for the USMNT today. Hope he ends up sticking.

Midfield trio of Musah, Adams, and McKennie would be something.

Spain up 3-0 on Germany in the first half (with a 4th ruled incorrectly out for offside)... you hate to see it.

My boy Ferran looking like a steal at £21m.

The offside was correct but Spain should have had a penalty.

    We are absolutely awful.

Why nominate Hummels and Boateng when you can also play with Tah and Koch...

Seems like Liverpool will be without Salah due to another positive Covid test, and any defenders for the next couple of games. Good luck.

Fucked up my FPL team and took a 12-point hit this week (forgot I'd made transfers the week previous lol) and still didn't take Salah out lol :-)

Can't you just make another transfer move before the deadline, and then play your first half wild card?

At this rate I'm gonna need to give a friend my password and only let me log in once a week before the deadline.

Does anyone really care about international football?

The only things I have enjoyed about this international break are the constant joy that is the Faroe Islands, and Germany getting absolutely pumped rotten.

I only care about the major tournaments. I'm not any more interested in the nation's league matches than I would be for qualifier matches or friendlies. I do think the breaks do provide good chances for squads to develop and for coaches to smooth out tactics but I just don't seem to care all that much while that's happening.
