I was thinking earlier Matt Gaetz looks like a young Ted Kennedy with the same DUI record

I was 17, my parents had no idea how to guide me because neither went to college and the “career counseling” was only about college. That’s it, nothing else. If you could get into college it was taught to be absurd not to go. And when I got into college I met with someone to basically just sign papers for “student aid” which were loans. Looking back the whole thing feels like a scam.

Bernie can't vote for himself anyway, so they'd still need Republican votes even if we won both GA seats.

Yep, I noticed this as well. We're going to see a rush of white women GOP candidates in 2022 to try and win back suburban women as they criticize Dems for "identity politics".

    re - college

i remember my high school conselor was rude and condescending af when i said i was having doubts about even going to college since i couldnt really see a career path w any academic subjects that interested me. like she pretty much was like "lol wtf is ur 18 yr old ass gonna do then, carve out a living at mcdonalds?" well i tried college since everyone told me to and it didnt work out lmao. im better off doing what i do now then if i got a job w the degree i was going for so fuck it. altho i liked the classes i took i hated the credentialism aspect and wish i had listened to myself and never gone in the 1st place.

i wouldnt even know what to tell kids coming up on college. the shit is clearly such a racket but if u want to do something not trade related its like u just have to bite the bullet and let the banks fuck u before u can even get on ur feet. predatory is a great way to describe it like other ppl said.

To be clear (bc some people replying/quoting the tweet don’t seem to get it), it’s 750k records relating to abuse allegations against two officers, not 750k *cases*

I don’t understand how you even get 750k records to delete in the first place. Is a “record” different from a “document”? If not then that’s an ungodly amount of paper which seems incomprehensible
