Damn it, my cousin and his girlfriend have covid with mild symptoms, and my uncle has been feeling lousy too. Ugh.

 

My girlfriend's sister in Chicago likely has COVID. My gf is also basically being forced to go to her cousin's wedding in Georgia next week. We need another nationwide lockdown but that'll never happen.

Got a precautionary test yesterday, waiting on results, starting to feel mild cold symptoms today (which could easily be nothing but is how the couple recent cases I know started).

Currently sitting in a classroom with 20+ students in Florida where everyone is acting like the pandemic is over. Literally just texted my brother who has been doing grocery deliveries since pandemic started to see if it would be sustainable to work until the vaccine comes out. Not sure if it's worth it. Haven't even gotten the hush money (raise) that DeSantis said teachers were gonna receive yet. Only thing making me reluctant to quit teaching right now is My kids and I have pretty decent health insurance that I know I wouldn't be able to afford.
