i think that would be a fair assessment if either party actually made an honest effort to represent the interests of working class ppl. the dems have had every opportunity to pick a pro working class candidate w strong numbers in the rustbelt but they've made it clear they would rather lose then do that, effectively keeping working ppl hostage to the gop. not fair to dismiss countless downtrodden communities that way imo when the whole establishment is dependent on beating down those of us that physically keep society functioning.
