    Ugh on top of everything else, my dog (11-year old Boston Terrier) has to have his (already blind, but still) eye removed today. And we're on the phone discussing with the vet what to do if something should go wrong.

    I mean, pretty sure Georgia has a clear cutoff where votes received after 11/3 wouldn't be counted under any circumstances. Dem lawyers would probably have to argue something about the USPS being intentionally gutted by Trump, which would be difficult to "prove" and also difficult to get a judge, especially a southern judge, to agree with.

    Because the status quo is to count them. You can’t sue for something that is already slated to occur. Edit : misread your post, if they’re received after Election Day yeah that’s different. I don’t know if any suit like that is in the works.
