Yeah I was hoping for a few states to flip to blue last night... bummer. I reeeeeeally hope we get some good news today. And I thought working yesterday was going to be unproductive. Today is going to be much worse.

 

It really is disappointing. After all that Trump has put this country through the past 4 years, there may still be enough people who looked at all that and thought, "Yep, that's my guy." We truly live in two different worlds. I don't know how we come back from this.

I’ve always heard way too many Republicans around here say “I only vote republican!” so I assume that even if they don’t necessarily like Trump, they’d never turn their backs on the Reps, which has always been incredibly frustrating to me.

 

Yep. No more “electability” bullshit. Stop making a play for the other side’s votes. Focus on turning out Democratic voters by supporting policies that will inspire them and motivate them. Generate the enthusiasm. I don’t know how many times this has to happen before they realize they should stop forcing centrist clowns on us.

well of course it’s partially that, especially considering people like Pelosi and Schumer who supported the strategy stand to lose literally nothing if Trump wins so why would they care how the plan works out
