Around this time in 2016 I came home to my dad telling me that Trump won, so just the fact that Biden’s holding a lead and the race is far from over is a twisted comfort. I’m stressed as hell, but at least I’m not reliving that at the moment.

Ranking of states I've lived in:

California (grew up in the Bay Area--hard to beat the weather, food, and cultural climate)
New York (hate how folks drive here but generally really like the people and cultural climate here in NYC)

Looking through that Gen Politics thread from 2016 and seeing us all spiraling was an experience. Like, you could see the air get sucked out of the room and all of us losing our minds.

just went out for a short walk. it's a beautiful night and it felt wonderful out. also got to scope out any nearby trump signs that i will inevitably leave again to kick holes in once i'm drunk enough

 

Does the guy who keeps posting the 2016 tweet really think he's funny? I don't frequent these forums as often as others here so maybe that's his schtick and I just don't understand it.
