I feel like if he doesn't anything really terrible after losing, the GOP at that point will try and save face and stop him. So he'll just keep to his usual terrible + pardoning a bunch of shitty people. But we'll be able to get through it by counting down the days till nov 20th

On the other hand, if he wins... I really struggle to see the path forward. 2016 you could bunker down and fight. He wins again and like... what are our actual options? Is there even any point in still trying to fight at that point?

Lame duck Trump period... two SCOTUS Justices “mysteriously” pass away so he gets to appoint their replacement

As much as I’d love to see it I can’t see anything bad happening to him after losing

Looks like turnout is way up in the counties around Austin, Houston, and Dallas as compared to more conservative parts of the state?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe just by being familiar with J. Miles coleman's work a bit, that the right map is comparing the turnout or vote margin or sometjing like that between clinton in 2016 and Beto in 2018. So the red counties are where Clinton out performed Beto and the blue counties are where Beto out performed Clinton

Lol he is absolutely terrified of what the people will do if he tries to steal this.

Definitely the #1 reason he changed the party venue to the White House...so he could have more protection.

unfortunately, size of the popular vote doesn't matter

Trump is in much closer range of AZ/NC/GA/FL. All easily within polling MOE.

And that leaves PA. A state that, while Biden leads in the polls, is ripe for to Trump to attack through the courts.

Trying not to freak out. Biden still leads. But this is far, far from a sure thing.

Who knows what will happen with all these polls and their MOE and where it all falls...but it is a distinct possiblity that we see a Joe Biden win where he takes Arizona and Texas but loses PA, NC, Georgia, and Florida.

I would have told you that was impossible 4 months or even 2 months ago. But it seems at least possible now.
