Halloween 4 right now. Haven’t seen it in probably 15 years.

edit: this is way better than I remember. I forgot about Michael’s thumbs of steel, as they kill two different people. The 80sification of the theme and speeding up the stalking music is absolutely abysmal though.

Beginning my annual Halloween/Halloween ll double-feature

 

I LEFT THE BACK DOE UNLLLOCKED, FOR YO ASS, TO GO OUT THE BACK, INTO THE GARAGE. That’s what I did.

 

Watching Halloween on Shudder now. Being at work on Halloween sucks but at least I have access to watching horror movies.

 

Halloween 2018 was awesome.

I only ever watched it once when I was 14 or 15 and it scared the shit out of me.

 

Have Halloween on Shudder in the background. Waiting for this special, early screening to start after.

 

I always save my favorite Halloween movie for last, and at last, it’s time to conclude Halloween by watching Trick r’ Treat!

 

This is the first Halloween I think since the movie came out that I'm not able to watch Trick 'r Treat and that makes me so sad.

 

Started the night with hereditary, going to close it out with evil dead (2013)

 

Sounds fun.

 

Looks like the secret screening is a movie called Lucky with Brea Grant.

Friday the 13th 2009 was not great!

 

Back from the DJ gig. Now I’m watching the creepshow special.

 

Halloween 4 in the daytime. As night fell: Halloween (1978), Shaun of the Dead, and ending right now with Hell House LLC which I’ve never seen!

 

Did Tusk and Yoga Hosers with a couple of close friends we've been seeing because they have nostalgic/tradition value for us. Closing the night with The Terminator and John Dies at the End.

My 31 for 31 was for like 34 for 44, but I still feel pretty good about it. Worst movie of the season by far was 31, best were Psychos in Love and Aliens.

How was the Shudser premiere?

 

His House was great. Some genuine spooks, but beyond that it's a heartbreaking story.

Lucky was the movie they premiered. I thought it pretty good. Starts out as an intriguing premise and evolves into something much more affecting.

 

Didn't get to watch everything I wanted to see for this season but 27 out of 31 isn't bad plus I came across plenty of other enjoyable films I didn't plan on seeing.

We did the Creepshow special, It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Hocus Pocus, and Trick r Treat yesterday. A solid Halloween! Hope everyone else had a great day. I have Monday off so will probably not let the season die off today and keep watching stuff I didn’t get to.

 

Oh and also, just finished watching The Twilight Zone Movie ep of Cursed Films and holy shit that literally rocked me. I had absolutely no clue about any of that. Definitely colors the way I see Landis now.

 

I ended up watching everything yesterday but TCM 3, I’ll watch that later on after I finish The Rock.
