I think so without much of a doubt. So much more power than 1 senate vote. Especially if Warren is motivated for the position. I doubt she’d want it so bad just to go in and be status quo. There’s a lot of power there, it’d be great to see it used to help people.

 

So, I don't usually comment on stupid conservative social media posts, largely in part because I really don't have any conservative friends on social media (or in general for that matter). But there is this one guy who friended me on FB (I literally have no idea who it is, but we had a few mutual friends so I thought... why not?) who has been posting a bunch of pro-Trump stuff and today he posted something that was so stupid I can't help myself. He posted a meme with cars on the road, all of them wearing masks, captioned something like "As soon as liberals realize 38,000 people die in car accidents each year." And, I want so badly to scream in the comments "DUDE, HAVE YOU NEVER HEARD OF SEATBELTS WHICH ARE LITERALLY THE EQUIVILENT OF MASKS FOR DRIVINGS AND WHICH YOU'VE BEEN USING WITHOUT COMPLAINT YOUR WHOLE LIFE!?!?"

If Biden pulls off Arizona, Florida, North Carolina and Georgia, the midwest doesn't actually matter. Biden still wins.

Seems unlikely Trump will be in a position to actually claim victory Tuesday night, though certainly possible he'll try to and ignore all the outstanding mail in vote in the midwest
