Totally get that but at the same time it’s clear that most of the wrestlers are not quarantining or socially distancing or anything like that. All you have to do is look at their social media. And that goes for other companies too. They’re still all hanging out. Going to Disney etc. I don’t know who’d they’d put on tv if they started banning those that weren’t taking it seriously. What they should do is get rid of the fans.

 

Why would the bucks give themselves the same stipulation Cody did for the world title.

 

Its truly stupid...Young Bucks v FTR has literally never happened in standard tag match in any company, ever...thats a massive sell in its own right. And the Young Bucks are both younger than FTR. Its entirely believable they both wrestle another decade; and yet will never compete for the title again?

The biggest mistake AEW made in its first year was not making Kenny Omega the biggest deal on the planet. Their biggest mistake year 2 is having a weak womens division (which theoretically was Kenny's focus...); no doubt the biggest mistake year 3 would be rendering the Bucks useless for tag title stories.

 

Seems Thunder Rosa is still signed up to NWA till 2021. Wodner what's going on there. The title loss doesn't make much sense unless she's leaving NWA as she's red hot at the moment.

 

I can't think of a situation where a "never challenge again" stipulation could ever be good.

 

It’s fine for someone like Cody who’s, let’s face it, never going to be a Moxley or an Omega and he could use it to prop up the mid card title. For the Bucks though? Absolutely stupid and gives away the match/angle. They’re winning or turning fully heel.

 

Or they lose and then in a few weeks introduce the TNT tag titles

 

Honestly that would be hilarious. Midcard tag titles before a trios title.

 

I still can't believe it's already been four months since Eddie showed up in AEW and he's already challenging for the title. That just makes me so fucking happy.

 

I think the stipulation is stupid, but the bucks should absolutely be tag champs, though I will say this again and will keep saying this: Best Friends should had won the belts this summer.

I think that the covid outbreaks have played a part in that since they haven't been able to bring in Riho, Yuka, and Shanna since everything started. The division might look different if we didn't have a global pandemic going on, though there's just as good a chance it'd look exactly the same regardless.

Anyone have any insight in to the sort of weirdness going on with Kylie Rae? Kind of starting to see a trend emerge with her, but also not sure if the "no show" thing at BFG was kayfabe?

 

Maybe its her anxiety? I'm no expert, but it could be when it comes to the big moments for her, it just seems overwhelming to her? I'm also very curious about it, because she pulled out of a show during the collective weekend, but I think that was due to injury?

 

Didn't know she had issues with anxiety. Really only know of her from the Marty & Sarah pod, and when I checked out some of her work I really dug it. Seemed like she was on a fast rise and then things fell through or whatever with AEW, now whatever went down with BFG.
