And those R voters are just going to decide to vote in-person so I don't get what point they're trying to make. If those Rs were going to vote by mail, they would have already. They don't give a shit about COVID lol

 

I want to win

I don't want to win because republicans couldn't have their voice heard. Like, sure it would be funny, but overall it would be a bad way to win.

Also while republicans are going to be voting late I don't think they are going to be mailing their votes in late. This is going to hurt the dems more than it hurts the republicans. Just gotta hope its not badly enough to swing the election.

 

There’s actually an infamous rumor that apparently when Gore was presumed to have won, O’Connor and her husband were upset because they had wanted to retire soon. And people point to that as her being too overtly biased in Bush v. Gore. But then she ended up staying on for 5 more years so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I do really, really hate that this election is going to be close and all it took was a global pandemic that has killed hundreds of thousands of people in the US. If that didn't happen, it is likely that Trump waltzes into a second term. Doesn't bode well for future elections.

 

I was planning on voting Green because I'm in CT and we've been a solid Blue state forever, but after going for a drive through more rural areas last weekend and seeing an absolutely insane amount of Trump banners, flags, bumperstickers, etc. and talking to one of my old friends who told me that he'll be voting for Trump, I think I've been scared into voting Biden.

I know there's an extremely small chance Trump wins Connecticut, but even so that's just a risk I can't afford to take. This is fucking awful.

As some of the Twitter nerds have pointed out, the polling now is pretty similar to the polling a year ago. I don’t think it’s a given Trump was going to win.

 

I'm living in the safest Biden state there is and I'm voting for him. Run the popular vote score the fuck UP. I want him losing by 10 mil.

In places where college students aren't on campus out of state due to COVID, has any polling been done on the impacts of that? Just thinking about how college students tend to be more liberal, and maybe they are now stuck in their home state where they'll be voting instead. Idk how that all works.
