Heads up, walmart has a deal going right now. I can upgrade on Verizon and pay $39 a month on the 12 Pro instead of $43. Free 2 day delivery too, which is faster than what some folks have mentioned in here who got a bit delayed by Apple

The gold one is sold out which kinda sucks

So am I. Major reason I upgraded this year is because my X battery is down at 30% at 2pm every day.

Oh yeah, I’m a big Halide guy. It’s why I’m pissed that Apple won’t (yet) let me change the default camera app, ha. I’ve got MK II installed actually, but was going to wait and use it with whichever phone I was going to settle on.

I expect it to be fine, because the first thing I’ll be doing is turning off 5G...lol.

Awesome. It's a cool app, I used to be big into photography when I was younger but never really kept it up.

Haha smart. Yeah, coming from rural NH, we are definitely not getting 5G for a looong time lol

Yeah that was the first thing I did when I got my phone. The plan I’m on is like €10 a month for unlimited LTE but they don’t offer 5g so that went straight off.

We have the AT&T 5G, but like, I really could care less about mobile data speeds. I’m never going to find myself randomly wanting to download season one of Breaking Bad on a street corner. I’m on WiFi 99% of the time I need to do anything that requires data.

Actually I may not even need to turn it off. I bought the SIM-free version so AT&T wouldn’t rope me into “well, you are required to have a 5G plan with this phone.”

  10. I got the 12 pro pacific blue.

after a day of use I feel even more strongly about returning it.

i think it’s super uncomfortable to hold (1 handed) and too expensive for how little I like it.
Gonna try to get a good price on an 11 pro. Should be easy.

It was definitely like $350-400 off when I looked on Verizon the other day anyways

But yeah, this is kind of confirming my fears. It just makes way more sense to have a curved phone in a curved hand

  12. I can probably score one for 700 bucks.

(the 12 is 1150 euros where I live. Do the math lol)

  15. I'm selling my 11 Pro Max but I feel like shipping to Austria would be a pain in the ass for both of us haha

  16. my 12 Pro is unlocked and it came with an ATT SIM card in it already and that's weird since 1. it's unlocked and 2. I'm Verizon haha

anyone else have their unlocked devices come with a sim already installed?

  18. I've always preferred the flat edges (the iPhone 4 is still my favorite iPhone of all time) but I can see people not enjoying the flat edges especially if their first iPhone was a 6 or similar (not saying anyone in this thread is like that)

I was initially worried about going down from the Max size to the regular pro size but being wider and having a 6.1 in display is honestly exactly what I was looking for.

  20. fun fact, the flat edges keep tricking me into looking for the lock button on top, as all flat edged iOS devices had/have it up there.

iPhone 12 Pro in hand. Love how it feels.

Also, loving the new case I got for it. One of the Otterbox Aneu cases which are Apple-exclusive. Not as thick as the Otterbox I'm used to, but seems very protective.
