yep Old Wounds into Loveless and then January Rain and then the Title Track really tells a solid narrative.

 

The subtle acoustic guitar in Old Wounds takes me to another planet.

 

Nightmare and Things Are Better should have definitely been on this. I agree with several peoples placements above.

 

Is there any track anyone would switch out so that Things Are Better or Nightmare could be on the album?

Album Review: PVRIS – Use Me | Beats Per Minute

 

Listened to Nightmare and Things Are Better for the first time today since the EP came out. The only song I might replace is Use Me. Maybe. Even then though those two songs didn’t nail it for me like the complete album does. Still glad they exist. May listen to them as bonus tracks each time I run through the album to get more plays and they might grow on me.

 

Excited for more but that’s a really quick turnaround for a rerelease. Glad I didn’t buy an incomplete physical version!

Is there any clue to if this might include the other EP tracks? If the new songs are slotting into the track listing or being added to the end?

 

my guess is we're having MVDONNA, Blood On My Hands, Nightmare, Things Are Better, and the solo version of Use Me added.

 

Nightmare deserved to be on the actual album but I’ll be happy if it’s added on the deluxe album.

 

agreed. it's one of my favorite songs JT Daly has worked on, and definitely one of the better PVRIS cuts.

 

Well.......super disappointing remixes, not really feeling the one actual new song but I'll give it some more spins

well i was completely off here, lol. i hopped on Lynn's IG live for a bit earlier and she said at some point she wants to release MVDONNA and Blood On My Hands, but she said we would need to be patient (which i assume means she's not done with them yet or the label wants to release them differently). oh well. i'm sandwiching Nightmare, Things Are Better, and the solo version of Use Me in between Wish You Well and Thank You.

Explanation from Lynn about disappointment in the lack of new songs

Not sure that I'm a fan of someone famous specifically calling someone out and calling them rude heh. That's just opening them up for attacks from the fan base. Not sure what the comment is she was replying to, though, it's gone.

 

Yeah, I get where she's coming from of course but the fans over there are a bit aggressive and go on about her like she's a toddler who needs extra protecting.

Def looking forward to new songs, until then major label snoooooooze...

 

PVRIS’s relationship with their label seems kind of like a nightmare.

 

i'd bet big money that they get dropped and end up on another indie for album 4

i've literally never seen a major label release get botched as badly as this one.

 

it kind of like atl indie to major back to indie(kind of)
