Wow I had seen most of the classic scenes in American Werewolf, but the carnage at the end is unreal!

So I just re-watched (skimmed) Saw 4-Final.... and ya know, overall, it's pretty impressive at how they attempt to tie it in. I remember when the movies were being released, I was a HUGE saw fan (1 and 2) and slowly lost interest as the plot got more and more ridiculous.

It's like okay..now we're going after the cops wife of the cop who tried to capture the other cop...and all of the games were "dont go right"... character "fuck you i'm going right mother fucker" (dead).

But overall I give the franchise a tip of the cap. Most of the deaths were really inventive stuff and i think for the most part, the ending tied it all together

Really liked The Wolf of Snow Hollow. Jim Cummings' performance was fucking great.

  13. Damn. This is my second time seeing Dream Warriors but I think this might be better than the original. Really takes the premise (and kills) to new places.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

yeah it's my favourite of the franchise tbh. perfect mix of genuine scares and funny, creative dream stuff. the balance immediately tipped way too far in the latter direction with Dream Master

Scare Me was fun. Wish I’d been a little better prepared for what it actually was, spent the first hour being kind of annoyed that literally every moment of tension was being broken. Felt a bit like watching an improv show with horror themed stories. A+ on the acting though, the cast really knew how to commit without totally overdoing it. Aya continues to be the best

It's truly a fascinating experience to take a step back and look at the series as a collective. There's this guy on youtube who breaks down each movie in order and points out all of the inconsistencies and reaches they made to connect them all. Also a lot of "Fuck You!" moments to the audience when they changed the rules or used "sleight of hand" to make it appear that the previous films didn't happen the way we think they did. I agree with your last statement though and i'll always have a soft spot for the franchise. Seeing the first one in theaters blew my mind open. It just turns into such a fiery blaze of a car crash the more you stick with the sequels.

Hell House LLC was fun but I wish it was scarier. I hate when found footage movies just cut to camera distortion anytime something interesting is happening

  23. Kind of want to do Mortuary and The Mortuary Collection tonight, also kinda want to do The Funhouse Massacre and 31. Feel like the weekend is my oyster.
