VHS2 is the good if you liked the first. Also semi found footage but I loved Unfriended.

 

the den (a big influence to more recent found footage movies) and gags the clown

 

VHS2 iirc are all gems and the team doing The Raid also directed a tape there that’s really good

Rec and Rec 2 are great. The Hell House series are fun, although the first one was the best imo. And then I would go Host (2020), Unfriended. Creep too.

Woah, I got the offbrand Scream Factory Halloween set off of Amazon a few years back. Is that OOP too? It looks like it’s going on Ebay for $500

I know the legit one with each movie separated was that much, but not the other. Unless I’m confused

not technically horror, but I enjoyed the little indie movie “Ratter”.

 

No one ever talks about Afflicted. I really like Afflicted.

Yes, both editions released back in 2014 were limited because of the rights between all the films. I wasn’t buying much back in 2014 so I missed out on the set...found the set you’re referring to at my local FYE last summer for only $49.99 but didn’t grab it & by the time I went back it had been sold

I will forever regret not getting the big collectors box set from Shout for Halloween when they released it but I'm honestly content with the more condensed one they released.

Watching the original final season of Tales From the Crypt, before the show got picked up for a last minute final season in England. I completely forgot that Humphrey Bogart stars in the “finale” lmao
