Discovered Thou when they released their Nirvana covers compilation a few months ago which is no doubt going to be in my Top 10 of the year despite being a compilation. Heard one song off this album and got me further hooked into the band.

 

they’re such a good cover band tbh. they’ve also done alice in chains and yeah yeah yeahs recently.

Diving in. I don't know if I'm tripping but I get Alice In Chains vibes from the opener (edit: not only that song). Like... I guess if Jerry Cantrell used a lower guitar tuning, I could imagine him play these riffs.


Okay guys, this album is IMMENSE. I've only heard the first few Thou releases since my initial post, so I'll keep exploring their discography. We need more collabs like this.

Why am I seeing two different album artworks for this thing?

I really like the one posted here, but then I've seen a secondary one posted around that's an illustration of two hands grasping for a key.

Is one vinyl artwork and the other not, or is one just incorrect?

 

the one above is the label's art, and the other is just digital on thou's bandcamp to fit with all their other artworks (all same style) afaict
