What if we started a horror 2 thread. But! Before doing so everyone uses the search function to collect their thoughts and movies

What I'm saying is that we need some reference posts. Genres or years or something

My giallo experience is minimal but I did enjoy What Have You Done To Solange? and Don't Torture A Duckling

 

We did something like this in the comic book thread. Everyone got three recs and did a little write up. I think given how many people post in this thread, we could maybe do two recs. I can give people two weeks and collect them all together.

I also think it would be cool to do decade retrospectives. Everyone can pick a film from a given decade and do a write up.

So many possibilities.

I'm open to any ideas you guys might have. Ideally, I'd like to avoid overlap, but if two people love the same film, it could be cool to have multiple write-ups.

mhmm... I'm going to start compiling a list. I think we should shoot for the 25th with write-ups. I can put up the new thread a week before Halloween.

 

@zigbigwig We get a lot of people posting in this thread, so I think 3 is gonna make that opening post massive. I think 2 is a good compromise.

 

Love this. Awesome idea @BirdPerson and @Henry. Could probably get the rec list published on the front page before the holiday, too. We could list genre, decade, and if they're currently streaming anywhere.

 

Feel free to either copy/paste or just list them and I'll pick up the slack.
