Towards the end they express interest in a Mando film at some point, but I was more interested in Favreau stating that they’ll begin production on season 3 later this year after Pascal finishes a film he’s currently doing. It’s crazy we will be getting 2-3 live action Star Wars Seasons every year.

I still feel like the next obvious choice for a SW movie series would be looking at the Mandalorian/Jedi war. Assuming this season is as successful as the first, it feels like a no brainer.

 

They are already working on preproduction for season 3. Source is a friend working on it.
