I believe the singer had a number of really debilitating health conditions and wasn't able to play music anymore. I'd have to double-check on that but that's what I remember.

yeah, no, that's definitely true. he was pretty adamant the whole time that there'd be more music. thankfully either way he seems to be doing a lot better!

Good on him for fighting against RA. My mother has it and it has pushed me to forward my career as a research scientist in immunology. Happy to say getting diagnosed with RA today is significantly better than if it was 10 years ago. It must be so hard to lose control of the things that help you physically interact with the world.
