Yep it’s a spoopy one. I watched it by myself in the dark a few months ago.

 

got this last night and I love it

 

Are the Sleepaway Camp sequels worth watching at all or am I fine to skip them?

 

Today was a good day: The Skeleton Key, OG Carrie, Haunt, and going to end with The Descent.

 

Two is fun, three a little less so

 

I literally just watched this episode last night haha

 

I watched it a few nights ago to prep myself for it.

Right now I'm watching Hubie Halloween and its a ton of fun. It's not a boner.

 

Guess I'll check out 2 then and see how I'm feeling after that. I'm just curious to see where they go after that ending

 

2 and 3 are both bonkers, in a good way

Today was Thirteen Ghosts (2001), Ready Or Not, Baskin and The Invisible Man (2020)

All over the place lol

 

I watched the original dawn of the dead, the Faculty, and Jason Lives.

 

Watching Tourist Trap at the moment. Not sure if it's the wifi at work or if it's just Shudder but the video quality looks so bad.

 

Alright It Follows tonight. I’ve seen this movie three times now, and how is it not produced by A24? The score is so good too.

 

The score is straight gameboy/Crying how have I never realized this.

 

The score for It Follows is incredible. I still throw it on from time to time just to have on in the background.

 

What'd you think of Baskin? I saw it at a film festival a couple years ago and was super into it until the end.

 

Ive watched it before but was not jazzed on the ending. I am still not jazzed on the ending. I prefer finalgirl/positive endings But I get it, i mean it's Hell. And possibly purgatory for the one cop

 

Yeah I suppose the ending fits the tone, I think I just preferred the more surreal tone of the first bit of the film rather than the more straight forward gore stuff in the end. I also haven't watched it in about 5 years though, so maybe I'm remembering it poorly.

 

Currently watching Halloween & Halloween ll back to back. First time watching the original in 4k Dolby Vision and to follow that up I’m watching Scream Factory’s 4k Blu-ray restoration of Part ll. Yup, I’m that cinephile lol.

Recording a podcast on Part ll tonight with my friend Erin, I’ll post it tomorrow. Doing Part lll on Wednesday as well!!

 

Watched Tourist Trap, and a double feature of the first two Slumber Party Massacre movies last night. Good way to spend my time at work, some great late 70s/80s fun.

 

Starting off the day with Child's Play 2.

 

I’m waiting to rewatch this again till next month since 11/9 is the film’s 30th. Love this movie to death, even have a framed one-sheet of the iconic Chucky/Jack in the Box poster hanging above my bed!

 

I haven’t had a chance to watch much the last couple of days and probably won’t today, but next up on my list are:

The Invisible Man (2020)
The Dead Don’t Die
The Babysitter: Killer Queen
