Just watched Scare Me. Really really loved it.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed Scare Me (on Shudder)
"That's an awfully modern name for a troll" lollll

Spiral was pretty good too although I feel like a lot of doubt/conflict could have been avoided by simply telling your partner about the hate crime in your home

 

yeah! I loved the artwork for it.

 

Gonna put this out there just one more time, in case anyone missed it yesterday.

My favorite, just watched my copy on Friday! Did your copy come with a slip? Just curious

 

I usually shy away from campy horror or B-movie type stuff but I’ve watched The Babysitter and its sequel over the last couple of days and had a bunch of fun. The sequel especially walked a thin line, kinda felt its length a bit but overall it was worth buying in on the charm. Cautiously optimistic about the third

 

I’ll be hosting the podcast I cohost with my daughter solo for the next couple weeks while she catches up with schoolwork. Our Halloween Horrorthon isn’t gonna program itself!

Love both the original and remake of Fright Night.

 

Oculus was great (some stiff acting aside)

 

I just watched both films back to back recently and you’re right, they’re both pretty solid. I even enjoyed Part ll (which I watched after the two films)

 

I also watched them both back to back. I still haven’t seen Part 2, but plan on watching it this month.

 

Anyone see Antebellum? I feel like that movie sorta came and went.

 

I got about 30 minutes in and gave up.

 

The reviews were not kind to the movie, but I’m a Janelle stan and will probably love it.

 

Antebellum was... fine.

 

One of the reviewers I enjoy (Dan Murrell) had surprisingly positive things to say about it. He essentially said the twist will either work for you or it won't, and it worked for him. I'm excited to get to it once it's not $20.

i watched Poltergeist for the first time and i now realize it’s where Insidious got its plot from. i love horror but kinda got in late. i mean i have watched a lot of old horror films, just prob not the amount most people have in this thread. im gonna do Rosemary’s Baby, Hannibal this month and some others.

thinking about a Wishmaster rewatch since my wife has never seen it. but it’s been a while so im not sure how much i’ll enjoy it

 

Still unconfirmed, but Killer Queen has a mid-credits scene that implies they’d like to make another

 

Just watched Wishmaster and it's pretty bad, but fun and entertaining. The practical effects are great and the CGI is laughable.

 

I just finished watching Rob Zombie's Halloween for the first time. It was a good one to have on in the background, but I didn't really like it, haha.

 

I can watch Ouija Origin of Evil without seeing the first one right?

I know there’s a segment of people who watch dr*g r*ace on here, but watch a show that actually cares about inclusion. The special is going to be on Shudder, but you can watch the first 3 seasons on Netflix.
