Shocked at how many people seem to prefer Moon & Antarctica over Lonesome Crowded West. Both great of course, just didn’t realize it was the clear favorite.

Hate the album, but had to put it on there for you. Just kiddin

They were legit my favorite band for a good portion of the 90s haha. Look, it was a weird genre, and honestly I didn't even listen much to their peers, but it's legitimately a great album. They had an ear for songwriting, and made it happen in the strangest ways. Anyway, I get the confusion lol.

    wait.... wait....

    what?

Look, you probably won't like it, but turn this UP loud and feel it baby. Catchy as fuck.

I honestly think you would appreciate that album way more than you think. It was his opus, he sings opera on it, there's an epic long closing song, the best stuff on it are not very commercial. After that album he went much more commercial, and I long to dream of what would have come if he continued in that direction.

Yes this is his voice singing the opera portion

    sucker

Probably not. No idea how I found AP in the first place because I had next to no interest in the type of punk/emo/indie pop that was popular on there and is here too. I think I came across the hip hop and dance music threads and dipped in and out of various hardcore/metal threads. Good for recs etc.

I can still get down with “Stitches” for sure.

Looking up their lyrics as a young’n was how I first learned to not just blindly type in a band’s name plus dot com...
