Started Spooky Season with Evil Dead (Netflix). Dead By Dawn is on Hulu too!

 

I don’t have a list for the month, but I’m starting October a night early with Tales From The Hood!

 

This isn't streaming anywhere is it? I've wanted to see it for so long.

 

Since many others are sharing lists, this is my Hooptober. Here's to October 1st!

 

After reading up on the film it seems to be the American version, gotta find the true uncut New Zealand one at some point.

 

This is huge, thank you.

Saw The Queen of Black Magic last night. It was pretty dope.

 

i love vampire lovers! all vampires are queer and this is no exception!

 

I can’t recommend the original The Craft enough. Great performances, perfectly casted. Most people don’t know Neve Campbell and Skeet Ulrich filmed both Scream and that movie back to back, but this was actually Neve’s first big movie.

Also one of the best IMDB Trivia page reads IMO. (Don’t spoil it for yourself until you’ve watched though!)

Starting The Conjuring 2. I've only seen the first one and Annabelle - stoked!

UPDATE: Really enjoyed this! James Wan is such a phenomenal horror director. This movie felt so epic because it was sort of telling two stories at once. The Crooked Man and The Nun, especially, were terrifying villains. Only complaint I have is I felt the length in the second act because some of the night time scares got a little repetitive.

 

thinking about torturing myself by watching 2018 Suspiria and The Lighthouse back to back sometime. will update if I survive

yes, I absolutely adore them both just to be clear! I mostly just want to kick off horror month this year by testing how much insanity I can take in one sitting aha

How does this hold up? Haven’t seen it in years, and I loved it then, but I’ve really soured on Rob Zombie in the past few years.

 

One of my favorites. I think it falls apart in the end/once they get underground, but I still love it.

 

Second flick of the day: Leprechaun 2. I adore this series, warts and all.

It’s a watchable 90s horror flick. Watched it a couple weeks back and kinda enjoyed it lol
