The better team won, and in contrast with every other Stars series this year, the right team won

They injured key opposing players in their first 2 series with their bullshit cheapshot style (and still barely got past Colorado's 3rd string goalie), and I am so damn satisfied to see a bunch of dongs like Corey "Fuck Corey Perry" Perry, Jamie "Mug and Run" Benn, Tyler "2 goals all playoffs" Seguin and Shrekov waste two months of their own time getting 15 shots a game

One day when Gurianov, Heiskanen and Hintz are running the show, I'll be glad to see them win again, but I can't think of a less deserving team to make it to the Finals in years, and the Lightning were a redemption story I'm glad to get behind

Anyway, he should just retire but that'll probably mess things up money wise

 

damn is he gonna be that old? I didn’t know he was at the end of his 30’s. I thought he was mid-30’s.

But, if we can get him and still take a player from the Rangers maybe he could be more of an ambassador type for Seattle than a player. Of course that’s not how it would work since he seems like he wants to play until he’s 55, but a guy can dream. Or at least think outside the box.
