Never even used letterbox before. Interesting.

 

Doing the Texas Chainsaw remake today, it must be almost a decade since I've seen this one. Don't think I've ever seen The Beginning, 3D, or Leatherface (2017) either

Loved the remake. It’s probably been 10-15 years since I’ve watched it also.

 

The transfer looks fucking amazing, like the colors are so vibrant and rich.

 

A local Family Video is closing, and I'm going to raid the blu-rays when I get back from Michigan tomorrow.

 

The score is easy top ten of the genre, just such a spooky vibe. I’ll be outside if you disagree and wanna fight about it.

 

I signed up last summer and use it almost daily to log in each movie I watch. I’ll give some movies a full review but 98% it’s just a review out of 5 stars

 

There’s a song that plays towards the beginning of Maniac that sounds like the beat to the Doug theme song

 

Now watching another classic, Drive Thru

 

This movie hits such a sweet spot for me, along with Satan’s Little Helper and the 2001 Maniacs remake. What other 02-09 shitty direct to video horror films do you all treasure?

I’ve never followed anyone on Letterboxd before and now I’m following everyone that posted their profile link. Now I’m going back and trying to log more movies I’ve seen but never got around to rating and noticing how it shows your scores/ratings on the film page. Is it worth it for pro?

 

I like the stats aspect and felt like supporting an app I really like, haha. If you have the money to spare and use it a ton, do it!

 

with pro you can also enter in what streaming services you have and easily look at a list and figure out what's available to stream
