Watching Psychos in Love. It’s really good! I’m shocked how funny it is. It reminds me of a more subdued Troma, but still filled with gore and nudity. I’ve loled a few times at the actual jokes, not just cheese

Doing a Last Drive In double feature, Maniac and Texas Chainsaw tonight

 

Just watched The Skin I Live In (2011). Thought it was gonna be a body horror film with Antonio Banderas as the mad scientist which it kind of is but then it goes down a totally more bonkers path and I’m not convinced that I liked it more than what I thought it was originally gonna be

 

Just watched the thing for the first time in probably 10 years. It’s so good.

 

Just started Maniac too! I started to fade so I turned it off. Didn’t realize it was on LDI, I’ll restart tomorrow night to get the intro

 

Hell yeah, I was definitely kinda drunk the first time I watched it but I knew I enjoyed it and recently picked it up from the Family Video cult movie sale. So I wanted to rewatch, but why watch it on its own when I could watch it with intermittent commentary and an interview with Tom Savini!

 

Randomly pulled the trigger on Letterboxd Pro lol $19 for the year. I use it enough, usually rate everything I watch and review quite a bit of it, but yeah, you get a lot of cool stats about your highest rated decades, crew, cast, etc. Not bad for $1.50 a month.

I was a little drunk last night but I do wanna reiterate my love for Psychos in Love. I haven’t been that charmed with a movie in a while. Bought the Vinegar Syndrome blu after watching.
