  1. Aside from Hill House I've only seen Doctor Sleep but I'd put Mike Flanagan right up there with Ari Aster, Robert Eggers, Jennifer Kent, and Jordan Peele in terms of directors to keep an eye on.

As far as Blumhouse goes, I love Happy Death Day and its sequel, but the only other two I've seen, Fantasy Island and Invisible Man, I didn't like nearly as much.

  2. Loved the Invisible Man, thought it was super effective. Leigh Whannel's been doing good stuff lately.

Also just watched the original Invisible Man last week and it's my favorite of the classic Universal Monster movies so far.

I haven’t seen a single Purge film, but I definitely want to do my own Purge Purge and marathon those bad boys.

You should. They’re all easy watches and there’s some fun to be had.

I clowned on the Purge premise pretty hard when the first one came out and never saw any of them.

Maybe I was the clown all along.

  8. I think the crowd those movies seemed to draw at the time didn't help their image much.

I can’t get into any of the Purge movies but mostly because I hate the concept from the get go.

Oh you would love the concept! The Soprano crew could wack anyone without bothering to dispose the body.

I’ve watched two of them. The first and another that I’m not sure on the title of.

Never knew this existed until about 20 minutes ago but watched the trailer and blind bought the Blu Ray. Very excited! Gotta keep my eye on the AGFA releases

This is also on Tubi. So is Blood Lake and what looks like a ton of other AGFA releases! Dope!

They were all on there when Max first launched. They’ve been losing 1-2 a month since
