If you like cannibalistic torture porn, then sure. I didn't like it though

It's Eli Roth. So if you've seen anything he's done it's that but cannibals.

Green Inferno is fine. I wish Eli had communicated it’s themes better but it’s pretty bare bones as a film.

Downloading Night of the Creeps and Night of the Comet.

In Search of Darkness is a treasure trove. I've watched about a dozen movies from it that I wasn't aware of.

  10. Netflix should have a Halloween food competition show called Night of the Crepes.

  11. Just finished episode 5 of Haunting of Hill House and that was not okay. I am not okay

I just watched Ghostwatch for the first time and loved it. Any other recommendations like that? I already love WNUF and The Last Broadcast was okay.

Wow, The Turning is absolutely abysmal. What the hell was that ending all about?

It was boring and cliched but that ending just made it hit rock bottom, felt like studio interference but even then that doesn't explain why it just ends the way it does.

  16. I haven’t seen either of the Funny Games movies. Which one is better? 1998 or 2007? Are either of them even any good?

they're the same exact movie shot for shot. that being said: the original. I like them both tho

  18. Oh haha that’s funny. Looks like the original is in German so maybe I’ll go with the remake first so I don’t need to read subtitles.

  19. Dracula's Daughter was great (I actually prefer it to the original tbh). Having a blast running through these Universal Classic Monster movies

Found out my bf has never seen the original exorcist. Omg. He has now seen the Exorcist III but not the original lmao. I have it on dvd but he doesn't have a dvd player... May have to bring mine up to his place sometime because this is IMPORTANT. Then omg I can get him into the show as well

Finished Haunting of Hill House. I've never seen anything so terrifying and fascinating and heartbreaking all at once.

I watched the DVDs which included Extended Director's Cut for the first, fifth, and tenth episodes; I don't know which scenes were added in, but you could probably find a list somewhere if you're interested.

  25. One of my all-time favorites. A yearly watch around the holidays (makes a good double-feature with Krampus)
