The song it is reminding me of is two steps higher key wise, I'm almost sure it was recent and from a rapper but who? It's driving me crazy

Lots of stuff I have to check out then. Aimer has become one of my favorite singers ever over the last year

 

Musically it doesn’t really appeal to me personally but that Aimer video is amazing

I’ve been listening to this song all day. The chorus is really catchy

Even compared to 2013/2014 when I was deep into Japanese music corners... the change has been noticeable.

I haven't felt like doing a lot of digging this year (I wonder why ), but after the 2019 song OMAE, the R&B singer Sara-J has become one of my artists to watch. She has put out some great songs this year too.
