seeing "the most powerful hurricane to ever strike Louisiana" is pretty chilling. And COVID is probably gonna make handling and recovery of this even worse than Katrina.

not to mention the whole the juxtaposition of a massive hurricane, a pandemic that continues to kill a thousand people a day, massive unrest over racist police violence, wildfires tearing through california...

and the republicans are out there acting like everything is peachy and the only real thing people have to worry about is if they aren't in power anymore

Am i the only one who think that this is going to far with BLM? No one in their right mind can justify what happened to Blake or Floyd, but is rioting, looting and violence really the answer? I even saw couple of "kill the whites" signs...

I know that some people suffered just because of their skin color, but if you ask me, instead of reporting that "Racist white cop killed an innocent black man", they should report "Police officer killer a man without a reason". Dividing people by race is ridiculous. There is only one race, the human race, and the fact that someone has more or less pigment in their skin doesn't make them better or worse. At this point the difference between African-American and white Americans is becoming bigger and that can lead to bigger and bigger problems.

Of course, the police officers responsible should be prosecuted and sent to jail and we also need to stop glorifying George Floyd and the others. Yes, what happened to them should not happen to anyone, but they were, as hard it is to say, lawbreakers. The focus should be on helping their families in this tough times.

This is how i feel about the whole situation, and before someone accuse me of being Trump's supported, i think the guy is insane. Also, i live in Europe and i've never been to US.
