I wonder what the canes are gonna do about their goaltender situation. While I wouldn’t say it was their biggest problem, they have two goalies I consider more to be very solid backups but not so much starters. I’ve seen people say they should go after Lehner. I wouldn’t mind that, but Reimer and Mrazek are both under contract next season, I guess they would have to trade one.

Defense will be interesting too, they are pretty stacked there. Do they try to re-sign any of Vatanen, Edmundson, or van riemsdyk? Id say you need to let at least one walk so they can make room to give Fleury a slot, he deserves it. Jake Bean should be ready next year too and I have a good feeling about him.

 

Canes should definitely go after Lehner or Markstrom

I would imagine you'd be able to find someone to take one of the other goalies. Hell, as a Devils fan I would throw a late rounder for either

Wonder if they do one of Mrazek/Reimer plus assets for Murray/Jarry

 

I love Tristan Jarry. Would love to have him on the canes. Personally I think it was a mistake for the pens to start Murray over Jarry in the playoffs. It’s not the reason they lost but I think Jarry is better
