Someone asked him why he forgot Buddha in his album rankings, and he said Buddha wasn’t an album and never counted. Then someone asked him why Nine was called Nine of Buddha didn’t count, because he previously included it when explaining the album title. He answered by counting nine records including the live album, and then said they were trying to figure out if Buddha counted or not lol

In short, Nine is a dumb title, even Mark is confused on what it actually means, and it should have just been called Generational Divide

I think it’s now a joke in and of itself. Mark has confused it into oblivion purposefully so that it now has its own story.

    “Why is it called Nine?”
”Well there were seven albums but he included this demo album called ‘Buddha’ but then said in this stream that the 8th album is actually their live alb—-“
    “Please stop”

I’ve heard him now say Buddha counts, TMTATS counts, and Dogs Eating Dogs counts haha

  4. (If he has his way) Mark wants their next album to be an Untitled/Crimson hybrid with Bill Stevenson producing.

That’s literally 100% what I wanted all along from Skiba-182. I hope it actually happens.

7 songs ep sounds awesome. 7 songs is almost as long as some bands records now.

I mean I don’t see why that couldn’t happen if Mark wanted it. I would love to see it happen.

I think I remember reading a comment from Bill saying blink is too big of a band for a record label to let him produce or something like that. Not sure if he was being serious or not.

Bill Stevenson producing blink is a dream come true for me. But didn't Bill, himself, say that'll pretty much never happen because they are too "Hollywood" and the label wouldn't be cool with it?

My goodness I hope that happens. Mark did close out his radio show with Alkaline Trio's "Sadie" and praised the hell out of the song.

    Things have changed.

A small distinction I saw: He didn't say if he had his way. He was reading a comment asking him to make an album that style, and then another asking him to work with Bill. He said he would, independently, love to do each.

I’ve actually enjoyed Jon’s work with Blink thus far (except the decision to do joke songs). With that said, I’d be interested in hearing what a Blink/Bill record would sound like too.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

Someone asked for it and phrased it that way. He pretty briefly responded that he would be into it.

  14. Damn so I guess I got my hopes up a bit too much. I didn’t actually listen to wherever he talked about it. I got the info from a third party haha.

We’re due for another live album.

TOYPAJ, Untitled, Neighborhoods, DED, Cali, Nine have all happened since The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show

The bridge perfectly shows how Travis completely changed the band when he came in.

With the vocals polished up in post production, I would've loved it if they put out a live album during the 2011-2013 era. I love the added guitar licks Tom added to I Miss You.

another thing that shows how Travis changed the band was when he convinced them to do a feature on an XXXTentacion song

  21. As I’ve learned more about spleeter, it makes me wonder if fans that know how to clean this stuff up could give this a go.

The thing of it all though is that it wouldn't have the Mark and Tom banter...or wait, would it? I mean, if they took bits from several live shows...

But yeah, I mean the banter is what makes that live album so great! I was even giggling during Adam's Song. Ha!

The only live album I’d care about is anything recorded during 2003/2004 era...fast,with Tom’s extended intros and bridges

Just listened to Mark's radio show and it was neat hearing his insight and background into the songs. I've pretty much only listened to music in album form since high school so it was cool to switch it up today.
