  1. I missed well written speeches. That’s what I’ve learned tonight.

I bet Michelle Obama would have won if she ran

were any of the non Bernie/Michelle speeches worth going back and watching?

  5. I was only half paying attention, but not from any politicians. The one with the “my dads only preexisting condition was believing Trump” was a good line and moving.

God even 60 would be amazing for my personal situation. My mom might be willing to quit full time work for part time next year if it lowered to 60 and she could get Medicare.

55 feels right though. At that point a lot of people are 30 years into their jobs, young enough to get some enjoyment out of life still, they can retire and find part time work opening up new jobs for younger people earlier, etc.

doesn't surprise me. lineup today was kinda uninspiring. But Bernie and Michelle both killed it so I'm still happy.

Tomorrow is also probably gonna be a mess. AOC is the only exciting name on the list though I guess it'll be interesting to hear from Jill

That's what CHIP is for DUH

Yeah it'd be nice if we at least got a public option out of it too.

If I had to make one complaint about Michelle's speech, she kept talking about her kids and setting the right examples for them... but both of them are old enough to vote. Gen Z and Millennials make up a large percentage of the voting block now. Felt like it could've used a bit of also reaching out to the younger generations, complement them for holding the older generations accountable, and stressing we need them to show up and vote too.

Are any young voters even paying attention to a DNC convention with seemingly half the speakers being ex republicans?

We Have No Policy is the most clear policy the DNC has ever had.
