Big San to Barca would be hilarious. Think he’d give Braithwaite the starting place over Messi.

Sheffield Wednesday have appealed the 12 point deduction. Our argument is that since our offence took place in the 17/18 season then the punishment should have been applied in the 18/19 season, at a time when a 12 point deduction would have seen us still finish 12 points clear of the drop.

be careful, Wednesday better cooperate otherwise they'll get fined and everyone will stay you're guilty of something else

Breaching profit and sustainability rules by losing more than £39 million over a three season period. Birmingham were also charged with this in the 17/18 season and received a 9 point deduction during the 18/19 season.

Heavy rumours Arsenal have completed deals for Partey and Gabriel Magalhaes, and will announce the new Auba deal when he returns from his holiday.

Also, Tim Lewis is not fucking about.

For those who don't know, roughly a month ago, Arsenal appointed corporate lawyer Tim Lewis to the Arsenal board. This man is a cut throat lawyer who is trusted implicitly by KSE, and is being used as their eyes in London whilst they cannot have Josh here himself. In his first assignment, he conducted a thorough evaluation of the business, deciding three things.

One, we had too many staff members, triple that of Man City or Liverpool, so we let some go. This is definitely the one I feel genuinely bad about but I understand the reasoning and have gone into it a few pages back.

Two, there was significant over spending on players as well as a lack of actual expertise high up, with people in positions that were incorrect for them (Raul in a position of recruitment, not deal making, etc).

Three, leading on from this, we had an inbalance of power. Raul was making all the decisions and not being kept in check or even really being overseen by anyone.

Following this, Raul was fired from the club, by Tim Lewis' recommendation, and replaced by Vinai Venkatesham, with all recruitment to be co-lead by Edu and Arteta. Now, he is threatening to sue a few institutions incorrectly reporting our internal affairs lately.

Pretty clear the solution is to not give a damn about the Carabao Cup. If the Europa League didn’t have a decent monetary incentive, I’d even say not try for that one either.

Juve are absolutely desperate to clear out some dead wood it seems. Italian media has linked us to Douglas Costa and Alex Sandro already this summer lol.

Just realised there's Champions League Qualifying round games tonight, same day as the semi-finals. Crazy to think about.

David Luiz is off to Rennes it appears. Pretty mad but definitely makes sense.

Meanwhile we've signed two teenagers on a free transfer from Huddersfield and Spurs, and they both look pretty good. Nice to see Per trying to find diamonds and that our scouting is still good youth wise.

Yeah, but to be fair he had to cause he would have been unable to finish the season. Doesn't mean he is going to stay. Talks are apparently very advanced.
