It’s crazy how thin and tan she is. And how tan they have to be for those damn contests. A buddy of mine was doing amateur bodybuilding and I couldn’t even recognize him with all the tanning products

I think Mandy (or whoever the girl who’s with him) convinces him to give it to her for a Women’s title shot or something like that. Whether she does it as a face or that turns her heel I’m not sure about but the options are there

 

Really though someone is just gonna offer him a years worth of steaks and he’s going to trade

Otis: “it’s true. I’m sad. I’d do anything for one last meal from there.”

person: “oh really?”

Otis: “oh yeah.”

Otis: “here you go! Oh yeah!” *hands over MITB while proceeding to dry hump the air while staring fondly off into the distance*

The more I think about this the more I picture Otis walking into his favorite restaurant and the owner/chef is Lars Sullivan or someone with that type of body. Lars says the restaurant is going under cuz of covid restrictions. Otis said he’d do anything to save it/own it himself. Lars asks for the briefcase. Cashes in on your favorite wrestler

The Sonya Deville news is fucking insane. Happy everyone is safe and they were able to arrest the guy.

 

Catching up on Dynamite. I think MJF is great but I hate the whole “breaking kayfabe” aspects to his promos. He’s good enough to not need that. Comes off as CM Punk lite and I didn’t even like it when he did it.

Also hate whatever Cody is doing. He’s never really been clear heel or face and I don’t think he is pulling off the tweener role. Seems like it’s setting up Dark Order/Nightmare Family or possibly New Horsemen stable. But it’s not coming together for me

 

Uh, holy shit.

Thomas was still inside the residence when officers arrived, per the release. He was carrying a knife, plastic zip ties, duct tape, mace and "other personal items."

The release stated that Thomas cut a hole in a patio screen earlier in the night and remained there for three to four hours

 

I read the article earlier today so I may be wrong but doesn’t it say someone else was in the house with her when she was sleeping (who knows if that means sleeping with her or in another room or what) but aside from this psycho possibly getting his ass kicked by her, he may have ended up with two people beating the shit out of him (or worse) had the alarm not gone off.

and aside from the immediate obvious horror of this guy potentially kidnapping her I find it really creepy that he was just sitting in her patio room (or something like that) and maybe listening to her and the other person talk and move about the residence and they had no idea someone was there. Shiver inducing to say the least.

 

So, reputable sources (ESPN, SI, etc) all report that the alarm triggered, she saw him on the property, then fled w/ her guest and called the police, who arrest the guy.

Its easy to assume she'd have rightfully beaten the shit out of the guy...but, that of course assumes she knows he's there, and when he has a knife and mace, thats obviously far from certain.

In an aside, if I was a professional wrestler, the last thing I want is people coming to my home and trying to fight me. And doubly so if I had any actual fighting credibility.

 

definitely agree. And if ANYONE gets woken up by a stranger and that person has a weapon who knows how you’d react. I’m not saying because she’s in great shape and is a professional wrestler that she’d beat the shit out of him (no idea what size he is which could play a role in that decision) but I feel like most in that situation at some point in time may try and make a move to get out of that so if the guy has his back to her or doesn’t tie her up tight or god knows what, if she decided to make a move it would likely cause much greater pain and impact than someone like me trying it to get away lol

 

Also, the attire for the events is...i guess the phrase is "laughably inadequate". I see that photo and its like seeing Terri or The Kat in the attitude era days.

Like I was uncomfortable that they seemed to throw away 6+ months of training for the time off that comes with the surgery, but Im far more uncomfortable with the single photo that comes from a bodybuilding comp where its both 100% obvious and not healthy, versus WWE where it weirdly hasnt become a storyline.

 

If it’s any consolation, the guys clothing is equally revealing. Guess it has to be to show off as much of the body as possible. Definitely saw more of my friend than I wanted to see when he started posting pics.

WWE has made it official it is moving to the Amway Center starting this Friday and will be called the 'WWE Thunderdome'.

Interesting things from here:
- 1000 virtual fans in rows. Won't be a flat screen like the NBA
- Trying things out with drone cameras
- Audio will be a mix of virtual fans and whatever they put in there
- NXT events, including Takeover, will NOT be at the Thunderdome
