Guardiola is such a tactical choker in these matches

I'm as thrilled as anyone for this result but Sterling missing a sitter and Ederson fumbling an easy save is the furthest thing from Pep's fault.

 

Giving Lyon the first 60 minutes of no real attack. Yeah, Pep has some share of the blame.

 

They shouldn’t have been in that position to be fair. Strange starting line up and only two subs used. Both which opened them up more defensively. The shot Ederson dropped shouldn’t have happened, the amount of space he had was mad.

 

Give me that all France final

 

Guardiola won't be getting criticism for that though. He'll be getting criticism for it being the fourth season in a row at City where they've been knocked out by inferior teams, partly as a result of Guardiola changing from his usual setup and hampering his team for part of the tie. And he did the same thing at Bayern. It's a clear pattern.

 

Think he's got players on his bench that cost more than Lyon's whole team. He probably deserves some blame.

I don’t want Leipzig to win it, but on the other hand I’d think it would be hilarious if they won it while Werner was chilling out at Cobham.

 

On one hand, I want Lyon to win it, but I also accept Bayern would Probably win the final against PSG and Lyon would probably lose it.

That Sterling miss is worse every time you look at it.

 

To no one’s surprise, Guardiola to Barcelona rumors have already started.

 

Sterling seems to miss a vast amount more easy chances compared to other players, yet he still scores 20+ a season.

Let’s say Guardiola either is sacked or leaves of his own accord, which is more likely (not that I see him leaving necessarily)...

Where does he go? We know we only joins clubs that are willing to spend hundreds of millions. That doesn’t leave many.

Juventus just hired Pirlo. Madrid and Man United are obviously a no. Barcelona wouldn’t give him the finances he would want and I think want Poch. Inter would result in too abrupt a change of style for the squad I think. As for PSG, Tuchel has probably bought himself another season.

Maybe a year out followed by PSG?
