got a shiny star this morning and was very pleased. havent gotten any featured non-CD shinies in a while. roggenrola shiny chance starts this afternoon, would love that.

Bouffalaunt can apparently be caught in Pennsylvania near Philadelhia.

 

It keeps showing up on my radar in Jersey but no luck so far

I'm in Wisconsin seeing emolga on the radar. Did it get a wide release or am I close enough to Canada? Lol

 

It got a wide release for Unova week, should be available everywhere. 7km eggs can have them as well.

Edit: also, is it just me or is Genesect significantly harder to catch than Rayquaza/Deoxys?

 

I’ve been inviting a lot of you to raids lately and hope you don’t mind. I live in Jersey City and there’s around 15 gyms in my view and a decent player pool around here so 5 star raids are usually pretty doable. Nearly 2 hours of playing and zero shiny Pokémon.

I can understand not getting a shiny due to luck on free community day events, but when an event that costs $15 includes increased shiny rates then Niantic should have the option for those who do not come across any shiny Pokémon to choose one or two to appear at the end. I don’t really want luck to determine if I get any shiny Pokémon after I’ve already paid.

 

Oh neat shiny Woobat at the deadline, caught it, turned regular.

 

Yeah that make up event was garbage.

 

The make up event is great, it's the exact same as gofest but more!! What's there to complain about.

I'm halfway through, 6 shinies so far.

 

This though, does suck

 

I'm bad at actually looking at my phone when I get notifications, but when I do I''ll definitely join anyone doing raids, so feel free to invite me on any.

I ended the day with just one shiny - a Chansey. I hadn't caught a shiny Chansey yet, so I'm excited to have it.

Overall though that makeup day was a dud. At least give us an hour with the dragon pokemon so we can catch something useful as we shiny hunt.
