Anyone else not surprised in the slightest by what's going on?

 

If you've watched Barcelona in the last five years in the UCL, you shouldn't be, haha.

 

I thought it would be a little tougher for Bayern.

I know you're a Barca fan so I'll go easy on you. The fix for what Barca need won't be quick. Your aging squad looks like it's peaked.

Prime Example: Thiago is dominating this game... against a team that could've easily held onto him.

 

Squad isn't going to change anything if the mess at boardroom level doesn't get sorted.

 

100% this team is a reflection of the board room. If the boardroom gets healthier, the football they play will be healthier too. Albeit it with probably vastly different players as better decisions will be made.

 

Busquets, Suarez, and Rakitic need to go this summer. Pique and Vidal next summer. Alba the summer after that.

That leaves ter Stegen and Messi from the 2014/15 treble. And even then, Messi's probably retiring around then anyway.

 

I guess you mean Alaba? Usually he has been fantastic at CB this season. He basically had to take that position after both Süle and Hernandez were injured early in the season and he has instantly been really great doing so. That switch was also the reason Davies got moved to LB and became a starter. He took over that position after Alaba moved to the center and the rest is history.
