Sorry to derail with more of me gushing over +44, but I just stumbled on this live video of No It Isn't. Mark's voice was on point during this era. Also Travis playing drums with one arm, while smoking a cigarette.

 

Shane and Craig are fantastic too. I miss that band.

 

They should play this song live more often.

Bands most famous line in a song is “you’ve gotta keep’em separated”. And yes, Dexter has a PhD in molecular biology, so I’d be fair to assume The Offspring is Very in line with science and logic.

Had a weird random thought this morning while watching my coffee brew.

Skiba is out and Machine Gun Kelly is in.

 

If Skiba has trouble playing some of Blink’s riffs, MGK would have no chance. Haha.

 

Why not Feldmann? I know a lot on here wouldn’t like the direction that would take the band, but he was pretty much a 4th member on the last two albums, sounds more like Tom than Skiba or MGK would, and Goldfinger is already used to balancing other projects.

Honestly.... Feldmann would make their live shows sooo much more fun. Dude’s a straight up ball of energy. I wouldn’t hate it. Haha.

But in terms of songwriting, I’d prefer to hear stuff written by Skiba than John. They don’t seem to really let Skiba go crazy though so it’s whatever.

 

I've seen MGK rip solos before. Definitely a good guitarist.
