This Mark interview is neat. He said the untitled album ended up costing a million dollars because of how long it took. I've never really thought about that!

I was pretty disappointed by it haha. Nothing will ever beat the Back To The Future ride for me though.

 

I really wasn't excited for a blink (or any) song about quarantine but now I'd take an album about the situation if it was like this

 

do we realistically think that the next blink album can have this same vibe?

don't get me wrong, I'm an absolute fan of Cali and NINE, but boy I would be so happy with a punk album

 

Realistically? I don't see them doing a full album of political punk stuff, even though this would be a great time for it. I just don't think it would sell as well as a regular summertime Blink pop punk album would, and they're typically all about the Benjamins, baby. BUT apparently they do have a few songs done for whatever they're working on, so maybe it'll be in the same vein. Who knows.

 

Feels like they are making sure not limit themselves and just rolling with ideas, seeing where they lead. I'm good with that as long as it has Blink vibe (which has been quite broad from a song like Quarantine or Generational Divide to Blame It on My You to Miss You).

 

It could end up being an EP or more singles. Plus, they could incorporate some punk songs on a record with some variety of Blink styles.

 

It would make me incredibly happy If it was there was a full length album with stuff like Quarantine. Not gonna happen though. I can see maybe a 2-4 song EP kind of thing, but not a full length.

 

Iirc, Blink Italia reported mark saying they’re doing an EP due to announce at end of summer. Maybe quarantine is on that?

Looks like Brian Lee co-wrote this song. Just kinda goes to show that using co-writers doesn't mean that the band's sound is then getting fucked with. Brian Lee co-wrote a couple Relient K songs and an Andrew McMahon song, but all the rest of his credits are big pop acts like Bieber, Cabello, etc. He also co-wrote that awful CRJ/Owl City song.

Manoverboard -I'm slowly checking out more +44 these days myself. Heard the title song and 155 last night. I can never remember the name of the first. I like it though! The second wasn't as much to my liking. Think I've said it on here once before, I also really like Baby Come On.

Oh, David, I was going to say, that sounds nothing like the bit I heard earlier today. I liked the earlier bit. This one, not so much. Not real, so who did it or what is it then?
