The media should stop treating the Donald so unfairly by printing things that he says word for word.

The 2 fears Muslims face after NY Imam's killing - CNN.com

Georgetown University recently issued a report showing a direct increase in Islamophobia in the United States tied to the presidential election.
Its findings show that the number of attacks on Muslims is up from 2014: in 2015 alone there were "approximately 174 reported incidents of anti-Muslim violence and vandalism, including 12 murders; 29 physical assaults; 50 threats against persons or institutions; 54 acts of vandalism or destruction of property; 8 arsons; and 9 shootings or bombings, among other incidents."

It's more alarming when you break it down by month. The study shows that anti-Muslim attacks surged at numerous points correlating directly with rhetoric coming out of the election.
In December 2015 alone, there were 53 total attacks -- that represents individual and at times multiple attacks each day. Each one of those numbers represents a person, some of them children, some of them women, some of them elderly. We won't see their faces, the turmoil and anguish that their family members have felt or anything else that helps us to understand what it really is like to be Muslim at this time.

She wants to shut down nuclear power plants, the message is pretty clear. If nuclear power is something super important to you, then you probably don't want to vote for her.

I'd be willing to bet that the increased islamaphobia was more the result of the Paris and San Bernardino attacks than anything Donald Trump said. He didn't create the fear, he just gave voice to what millions were already thinking.

  16. Then why does she cite a study that highlights nuclear power?

Me being nice: She's ... not good at running a campaign.

To be fair, if that's your standard a critical analysis of inconsistencies of the two major candidates in this campaign would make each of them look disastrous. And I would say that is fair. I don't even think you have to be nice, but hopefully such a hard look at each and every position and each and every tweet carries over to the other candidates. Here, the study mentions nuclear power, but hardly highlights it. Its really just one example of a large transition made in France, and it doesn't seem to conclude that nuclear would have to be in the fix. What might be getting lost is that the conclusions are pretty awesome, and its the type of study that people were saying didn't exist when Stein was announcing the party's proposed transition dates. Anyway, if being overly optimistic and even naive about transitioning off of fossil fuels AND doing so while moving off of nuclear energy makes her campaign bad, ok, that's fair. But unfortunately the other people running for office don't even have an interest in moving off of fossil fuels and into clean energy completely, so I think I'll still take the person who at least wants to make a move.

No one said he created islamophobia, but he's inciting violence based on that and should be silenced for that. Instead millions of racists support him.

is this somehow less of a deal than it sounds? I don't see it on cnn, buzzfeed or bbc.

but "campaign manager caught taking money from one of US's biggest enemies" feels like its a pretty big deal...

Happened from 07-12 when he was working for Ukraine. It's sketchy and bad but it's not currently happening (as far as we know). People aren't gonna get toooooo wrapped up in it.
