Well generally we get along, and don’t usually drag new comers unless they’re aggressive too. Though I don’t blame you. It can also be very ridiculous in there sometimes.

 

I was a regular a long time ago, stopped visiting for a bit, then came back; the last time I was there, the people I didn't recognize were rude, so I left again. idk

The #discourse for today on Film Twitter has been shitting on people's "favs" on letterboxd. I'm really enjoying seeing what some of the people leading this shit have. Most are all oscar nominees from 2016-2019 lol.

People are just too negative about what other people like. Like I see people shitting on people for having cliche favs or whatever instead of just trying to be helpful and recommending other cool stuff. Its lame.

I don’t understand why anyone would spend their time snooping on random personal favorites lists for any service, especially just to post them and make fun of it. Like are there people tweeting what YouTube channels some kid subscribes to or what songs are most played on someone’s Spotify? Actually don’t answer that because I’m sure they are.
