Genuinely no one in the business that deserves to finally get their big break more than Eddie. He'd also be a great guy for AEW to have years from now post-retirement to take the Dusty at the PC role and teach a promo class.

 

So I know nothing of Eddie Kingston and missed that segment. I did watch the promo posted above and I’m excited to see him moving forward.

 

So is NWA officially done?

 

I still have yet to see any evidence that Brian Cage knows how to speak. And Ricky Starks kinda looks like a real life, dark haired Beavis

I hated him when he was Chikara champ, but he was so good. He had a great street fight with Jimmy Jacobs at one of Chikara's season finales.

Not shocking, but SummerSlam officially off in Boston. They may have something different from just the PC in mind, though, because the press release I just got says "information regarding a new location for the event is forthcoming."

Also, anyone who thought the Adam Cole/McAfee thing wasn't a staged work...

Who knew that Eddie Kingston would be the thing to get AEW to beat Guy's Grocery Games?

 

Not to state the obvious, but I think NXT has been hurt more by the pandemic than AEW because it was so much more atmosphere reliant. The crowd could breathe life into characters and matches that may not have stood quite as well on their own; we've seen this phenomenon play out over and over again when guys move to the main roster and are exposed to the same lack of crowd support. AEW's not hindered as much because their characters are more self sufficient, you can tell how much more freedom they have to be themselves and how much more enjoyment they get out of what they're doing. And that can make a big difference during a time like this when everything is so barebones.

 

Boy I hope to watch adam cole and Pat mcadweeb have a match
