Unbelievably stoked for Stalker 2 though

 

That was weak. They hyped it up and that’s what they have to show for it. Yeah some cool stuff but nothing grabbed my attention like Sony did with the ps5. Forza looked sick and fable will be good. Ps5 will be the first console I get come the holiday season

 

I mean with Game Pass and Xcloud or whatever you don't even have to get a Series X.

 

And we won’t get anything from elders scrolls till starfield is out or about to come out. Es6 is coming out after starfield so it’s gonna be a few years

 

It was still weak compared to what Sony showed off and announced. I was sold on ps5 after 3 games.

 

That presentation was pretty much what it needed to be but nothing more. Solid B.

 

That was so bad :( I'm a super easy sell on Xbox - literally just keep pumping out Forzas and ANYTHING else that looks interesting and you've got me. Not a single thing today intrigued me except Everwild, and we didn't even see what the game itself will be like. Relieved I guess, looks like I can safely wait until Xmas 2021 to even think about upgrading from the One X.

I haven't really ever been a Playstation guy and I thought their announcements kind of sucked, too, but the Ratchet and Clank trailer alone ran circles around this.

What was all shown. I’m at work, and gonna youtube all the games. Already saw Halo. Looked ok .

 

I think it pretty good but definitely weaker than Sony. The biggest disappoint was not seeing Fable gameplay. Cool That all of those games will be on gamepass though

 

yeah. Microsoft is moving in the direction of buy our service more so than the box.

 

I will say though that Xbox has the bigger launch exclusive, especially considering Halo is a full-length game.

Fable 2 was a ton of fun

 

They showed some stuff that looked neat. I think they’re making a big mistake by developing these games to run on current and next gen hardware, all of the PS5 gameplay looks like a considerable step above what was shown today. Still waiting for the day that Xbox shows me something that makes me consider buying their digital only box and subscribing to game pass, but it looks like today was not that day.

 

Yeah this is a major issue. It’s one thing for some launch games to run on both but they’re saying it’s going to be like that for the foreseeable future and that is just going to hamstring their studios’ ability to design new and innovative gameplay. The visuals and performance might be next-gen, but the design will have to be last-gen.

PS5 day one. Or probably March

 

Hopefully in a few years they’ll have some proper first party titles out there fully developed for new hardware. Maybe that coincides with a price cut or at least with a substantial holiday hardware sale.

 

Xbox for me again this gen, and a huge part of that for me is Game Pass.

please don’t hate me but its crazy that Oblivion came out 2.5 years before it

 

Oblivion was fun too. Me, and my friends pretty much only played that for months on our 360’s before Gears.

ps1->ps2&xbox->Xbox 360->Xbox one->ps5 for my trajectory

 

Looks like it'll be the same next gen as it was this gen for me: play pretty much everything on Xbox but wind up getting a PS for Spider-Man

 

Xbox once again for me. Really excited for that microsoft flight sim lol.
