I cannot get into podcasts for the life of me. I also don't have a very long work commute anymore which I think would be a better time to consume them

 

You literally said everyone who disagreed with you about Joe Rogan was just buying into click bait and needed to do more research on him. Even when they were coming with nuanced arguments based on facts about why Rogan is bad, you assumed they didn't know anything about him. You can't fathom people doing the research and still coming up with a different opinion than you? Everyone that doesn't agree hasn't educated themselves?

 

podcasts rule. I listen to so many. less actually since quarantine because I usually do it on my commute or at the gym. but I try to make time for my favorites.

 

maybe journalists who dont know shit about being trans should leave medical issues to the doctors who regularly treat transgender people

 

no one stopped you from sharing your point of view, as evidenced by a dozen posts of some bullshit

some people really just say anything on this site.

So what are you waiting for? Thread has moved on, write up your argument, include your points and examples and make defenses over all the attacks you've received. If you want people to engage give them something to engage with and not just low hanging fruit to dunk on and empty half denials.

 

Any time I see JRE or Ben Shapiro recommendations come up on my YouTube feed I always mark them as not interested. Then I immediately question the amount of time I've been wasting on YouTube.

I don't know how to explain to someone that it's actually Not Good to give people like Ben Shapiro, Alex Jones, Candace Owens, and Gavin McInnes a platform to spew their bullshit to millions of impressionable young listeners.

 

Same. I don’t listen to audio podcasts at all, but I do throw on some video podcasts in the background sometimes when I’m doing things around the house.

 

Weird how the Broganites always start off with arguments about "free speech" and how you don't have to agree with someone to listen to them and then quickly go full transphobe...

My youtube algorithm is Smash Bros. videos, sudoku, NBA video essays which I've been watching a ton of lately, and loosely scattered left wing politics stuff and like Conan comedy videos.

 

Same with me, now it's about 10 minutes, and I can't really focus on the conversation while i'm working so instead i'll just put on some music in the background. I'm not trying to listen to one hour + long podcast episode over like 4-5 days lol
