again, i dont live in an echo chamber, i consume plenty of conservative content, not that it matters because they're all just regurgitating the same ideas from the past century of conservatism with different language. doesn't take a genius to realize they aren't worth engaging with. dont care about whatever the joey diaz situation is, doesnt matter, joe rogan still fucking sucks and its weird to defend him in any capacity

I wish when someone came in here with some bullshit they would actually back it up with facts and an argument and engage, but it like never happens. When I come in with something this thread disagreed with I'd either be able to educate myself and see how I was wrong, or read further into it and strengthen my position.

The pile-on is really great for helping you build strong arguments, or learn from different perspectives to you know, actually change your own and grow as a person. If you can't defend your point of view it should probably change.

Again: None of his views or his guest’s “views” are new or anything we haven’t read a billion times before. It’s not an echo chamber, it’s 20 years of seeing the same garbage spouted and people grifting off it while a new crop of uninformed youth lap it up as misplaced rebellion. conservatives are in far more of an echo chamber than leftists are. they think the democratic party is full on far left communist maoist cultural marxist lenisist whatever the fuck. they literally dont engage with any actual left wing ideas, they set up boogeymen and strawmen to easily take down for their brain dead audiences.

the funniest thing to me is when conservatives claim that extreme communist indoctrination is happening in universities. i was never taught anything even remotely communist or socialist in college, it was barely even liberal. it was mostly the most milquetoast centrist bullshit you could imagine, if it was political at all. conservatives are just mad its not the kind of indoctrination they like. which, not sure why they're so mad, they've got the entire k-12 social sciences on lock. our entire nation's history has been whitewashed to make conservatives feel good about america!
