The weird thing is that whenever a fan complains about a public figure being canceled, their career is usually doing fine.

What they're really complaining about isn't that person's career or experience: it's personal discontent with the social stigma of still wanting to like that person. A desire to be blissfully unaware about who they support, or ethical consumption of media.

 

These assholes are really so disconnected from reality.
