MGK has really nailed the Pop Punk vibe. I can see that album becoming a AOTY contender.

It's so weird how I basically can't stand MGK as a rap artist, my main genre these days, but I'm actively looking forward to his pop-punk side project, a genre I haven't been into outside of like 3 bands in years

 

Those MGK songs really are just pop-punk 101. And his voice isn’t great.

Mark confirmed the leaked “Falling” song was recorded during NINE. They didn’t really like how the song was turning out so they never went back to it to finish it. No idea how it leaked but it was on a few people’s hard drives.

 

I’m happy it leaked bc we are still waiting for the quarantine song. I’ll be surprised to get that lol.

 

Mark and Travis keep saying it’s coming out just waiting on the record label. (Or for Matt to hear it first haha)

 

It's weird they keep pushing off the song. As more and more things are beginning to reopen, a song about quarantine seems less timely.
