Why switch it up like that? Just looked. Some real silly choices.

Their description actually is kinda cool. They split it into 4 packs of 4, one for each side of vinyl. They grouped them in 4 packs, where each pack has stylistic similarities. Essentially making 4 EPs if you listen one side at a time. AKA it's very specific to the vinyl format

    I do not exist.

YES! But I had forgotten until it was briefly mentioned in the BC interview.

I don't typically like mixing up original track lists but I'm fully on board with the vinyl track list. It's definitely a different kind of flow but I love it.

    Perfect track list:

    Local Construction
    Cat
    Mountaintop
    Man
    Air For Free
    Sleepin'
    Empty House
    Look On Up
    Flower
    Marigold
    Runnin'
    Prodigal
    Heartache

    Bonus Tracks:
    Bummin'
    Hippo
    Elephant Parade
    God

EDIT: I'd like to clarify that I love every song on this album, including the ones I put in the bonus section. This just makes a more succinct flow to me. Current AOTY though.

This is quickly rising up my AOTY list. Really been enjoying this on late night summer walks with my pooch. "Prodigal" is whatever, but the rest is terrific. Even the two songs that didn't do anything for me on the first few listens ("Empty House" and "Sleepin'") have really grown on me.

    noooo.

    Local Construction
    Air for Free
    God
    Marigold
    Look on Up
    Man
    Mountaintop
    Sleepin'
    Empty House
    Flower
    Heartache

I believe that is the best possible track listing for this album. Perfect. That would have a decent shot at being my favourite RK album.

Would be even better with the god damn Marigold intro.

nope. The live version has an intro though so I'm just assuming it's that and I think it makes the song better.

grey hairs, get out of me zoots! Prestigious

don't get why you don't like "Cat" @SpyKi probably one of my favorite songs on the album.

Also wish that local construction didn't have that yelling part in it, it's not as cool as they think it is.

I like the yelling part a ton, way more than any part of "Cat", ha. "Cat"'s fine, it's a decent song but it's definitely one of the weakest on the album and for me drags it down.

Empty house - Flower - Heartache is the best way to end this album, no doubt. I would probably throw Elephant Parade after Local Construction but other than that his is pretty perfect.

In any case, "Flower" absolutely belongs right before "Heartache". Probably my favorite part of the vinyl track list.

The number of people complaining about Empty House's vocal effects are much lower than I expected. Might have just missed it because I left the internet for two weeks around its release though.

It's because it's so goddamn good. At this point it's easily my favorite song on here and probably in my top 5 RK songs.

Have you listened to any of the recent interviews? Sounds like he just sort of "freestyled" it and left the original take as the album version which is even more amazing
